Before we completely leave the Dark Side here are a few final images from this year:
And now, as they say, on to something completely different. Leave it to the magic of the House on the Rock to go from frighteningly spooky to a nostalgic holiday atmosphere, but that is in fact what has happened. The transformation is amazing and we are ready to welcome you to Christmas at The House on the Rock!
White twinkle lights add to the festive glow, and holiday music plays throughout. Our enormous collection of Santa's of all shapes and sizes (6,000 and counting) is spread throughout the Gatehouse, Original House, Infinity Room, Alex Jordan Center, Mill House, Streets of Yesterday, Heritage of the Sea, Tribute to Nostalgia, Music of Yesterday, Spirit of Aviation and the Carousel.
The Attractions is open for the Christmas tour Thursday through Monday from 9am-5pm, closed Tuesdays and Wednesdays, Thanksgiving Day, Christmas Eve Day and Christmas Day. The Christmas Tour ends January 6, 2013.
