Are you guys looking for suggestions for the live music on Saturday, or do you already have someone in mind? I know an awesome band that's from Madison who'd probably be perfect. As a bonus I know they're geeks & huge Neil Gaiman fans. If you want the info I can send you their contact info and links to their music.
We've been getting a few questions about the band that will be performing at the gathering. If you know any local or regional bands that would be suitable, send the information to thehouseontherockblog@gmail.com
I'm so excited about this event. Can you tell us how many tickets are being sold? I'm sure you have space for lots of folks, but I hope it won't be *too* crowded. Also, will Neil be signing/selling books?
I wish I could afford to buy a ticket now! I'm afraid that by the time I can afford it later this summer it will be completely sold out. :(
The plan is that there will be books available, and Neil will be signing books.
We've been getting a lot of inquiries about the number of tickets left--not to worry, there are PLENTY of event tickets left. In addition, area accommodations are still available, so if you didn't get a Resort or Inn package, you're still in luck.
Finally, if you have any questions about your reservations you have already made, please contact the Inn or Resort.

Can't wait to see what is being served for dinner at the banquet. A banquet fit for the Gods! And I trust Mead will be served at the bar. Maybe a shuttle bus could be hired to take groups from/to the airport. If all passengers split the cost it would be cheaper and nicer for the environment than having everyone renting all of those cars. Another idea would be to arrange carpools over Twitter or FB.
We have a local brewer working on the Mead. As far as carpools are concerned, I suggest you go to the Low Key Gathering Facebook page where there are a lot of fan contacts going on.
Are any schedule details available, as far as start and end times? That would definitely help with travel booking...
The schedule is still under construction. Friday is an open-tour of HOTR with Neil's readings scheduled for 8:30 p.m. Doors will open at 7:00 p.m. The Saturday panels begin in the morning and last into the afternoon. The costume party begins at 6:00 p.m. and lasts until midnight.

Is there a call for papers for the panels, or will it be special invitation/bigwigs only?
Any news on the Call for Papers? As a lit prof who teaches Neil Gaiman (and lives in south-central Wisconsin, I am very much interested in participating!
Thanks for your interest in the panels! Check out the Low Key Gathering's Facebook page for questions specifically related to the panels or discussions.
Just saw someone commenting to Neil Gaiman on Twitter that they'd been told the Inn package was booked up already...say it ain't so!!
It's so. However, we still have plenty event tickets available, and there are still accommodations in the surrounding area. You can see the contact information for the area hotels in this post.
I have a really stupid question-where would one fly into for this and how far is it from the House on the Rock (should I rent a car as well?) Thanks.
The nearest airport is Madison. It's about 45 minutes away from The House on the Rock; all the major car rental agencies are available at the airport.
